Poet Ami Xherro writes:

I drank the first time without knowing so the second was my first time.
I drank once to be recruited, twice to recruit others.“
She lets us know it takes a bit of time to feel the span of an occasion and let it coalesce as a definitive moment. Composed of objects and drawings by a number of collaborators, this exhibition emerged from conversations around delayed gratification, unprocessable stimulation, uninformed expression, and the afterthought that comes on time; the staircase joke whose punchline hits us all simultaneously like a phantom step.
